Mr. Brown is beginning to develop an appreciation for the writings of Charles Spurgeon and some of the early church fathers - if for no other reason than the sheer volume of their work. John MacArthur's The Gospel According to Jesus changed the way he viewed his relationship with Christ and personal evangelism. Homer's Odyssey is a tremendous adventure tale. C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, and Chronicles of Narnia never cease to provide new tidbits to chew on. John Bunyan (Pilgrim's Progress) and G.K. Chesterton (Orthodoxy) too!
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Married to Rebecca Brown (June 28, 2008); no children (yet!)
Mr. Brown wrote an entire novel, as part of National Novel Writer's Month - last November. The novel itself is still in its very rough stages, but that's the most he has ever written in that short amount of time (his senior thesis included)!
Besides reading Scripture, he is a complete trivia nut! He loves history, geography, and sports. His trivia smarts got him one night of glory as a contestant on Jeopardy! last year, and he is currently awaiting The Call as a member of the Millionaire contestant pool.
